Hyundai Rotem is a global heavy industry company that specializes in manufacturing rolling stock, military equipment and plant engineering. It is able to produce all types of rolling stock, including electric multiple units (EMUs), high-speed trains, engine locomotives, wireless trams and magnetic levitation (maglev) trains. In addition, it is ushering in the new era of eco-friendly hydrogen fuel by developing trains powered by hydrogen fuel cells along with hydrogen infrastructure and hydrogen markets. Job Responsibilities: Effectively communicates and manage assigned working packages such as contractual deliverables Monitor, document, and report project progress (daily, weekly, monthly), including Project time & schedule progress Project design & engineering progress Production management & quality management Parts/Material suppliers management Project contractual milestone activities Project activities in accordance with Federal/Governmental/Contractual requirement Monitor and update the schedule including Monitor the progress of tasks and milestones against the project schedule Adjust the schedule to accommodate delays Analyze and make recommendations for corrections, implement training, and oversee changes Identify and manage all activities for resolution of issues Coordinate and schedule meetings with vendors, client, and headquarters for any updates and/or changes Department budget management request and approval reporting Compliance with federal regulation and reporting Create and maintain informational databases Support the Project Manager to develop and maintain customer relationships Supports the Project Manager to identify and resolve issues/conflicts Communicate effectively with all key stakeholders internally and externally Perform other duties as assigned Experience/Skill Requirements: Detail oriented, excellent organizational skills, and strong written & verbal communication skills Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Ability to manage multiple activities in an exciting fast-paced environment Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT, etc.) Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree Rail industry background preferred Job Requirements: Bilingual in Korean & English preferred but not required Must be currently authorized to work in any company in the US Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 – The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience and qualifications Benefits: 401(k) matching Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off
