Experience: Minimum 5 years in commercial project management, with a focus on plumbing and HVAC systems Position Overview: The Commercial Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the execution of commercial plumbing and HVAC projects from inception through completion. This role includes managing project schedules, budgets, and documentation to ensure quality and client satisfaction. The Project Manager will work closely with Estimators, field teams, and clients to ensure all projects meet specifications and are delivered on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: Project Setup & Planning: Receive accepted bid packages from Commercial Estimators. Develop and manage detailed project schedules, tracking milestones and deadlines. Documentation & Compliance: Prepare, submit, and maintain project submittals, RFIs, and change orders. Secure all necessary permits and approvals. Oversee the control of technical project documents, both electronic and paper, ensuring version accuracy and security. Budget & Cost Management: Monitor and control project budgets, addressing variances as needed. Ensure accurate and timely project invoicing and billing processes. Collaboration & Leadership: Build and maintain positive working relationships with project managers, team members, and field staff. Provide technical guidance to field teams to ensure project productivity, efficiency, and adherence to schedule. On-Site Oversight: Conduct site walk-throughs and attend meetings as required. Oversee quality and safety standards at the project site to meet or exceed industry standards. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in commercial plumbing and HVAC. Proficiency in reading and interpreting project scopes, specifications, and design drawings. Experience with project management software and document control platforms. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Physical Requirements: Ability to travel to project sites as required.
