Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,628 per week

Certification Details BLS ACLS PALS NIHSS Job Details A hospital near Sacramento is looking for experienced ER nurses for a travel contract. The right candidate will have 2 years of experience. Job Requirements Must have 2 years of ER experience. Must read & interpret EKG strips. Must complete DYSRHYTHMIA EXAM (BASIC) through UNA within 24-48 hours of acceptance, with two attempts allowed. Schedule Information 12hr Nights, EOW, First to Float. Travelers will work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years). Modules are required to be done before start, taking 3-4 hours to complete (not billable). Unit Specific Information ED Techs perform EKGs, vitals, and patient care. RT completes ABG's & breathing treatments. Navy scrubs required. Additional Details Non-trauma, Stroke Receiving Common diagnoses/Types of patients: CP r/o MI, SOB, Sepsis, psych holds. ER sees 160-220 visits a day. Nurse: Patient Ratios: ICU Pt - 1:1 or 1:2. All other ED Pt's - 1:4. For Holiday RTO: Holiday time off will be considered, however not guaranteed.
