Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Charleston, West Virginia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/12/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel MUST START BETWEEN NOV 11 - DEC 11 MUST WORK 48 HOURS PER WEEK 8 Week Assignment No Holiday RTO - Must be willing to work the Holidays: Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, & New Years Day PCU RN for Open Heart Progressive Care (6 Front Pod B) 4x12 Nights 7p-7a, weekdays, every other weekend, float 29 Beds- Progressive care for post-op open heart and other cardio thoracic post-surgical patient requiring cardiac monitoring. Accepts Med/Surg Overflow Orientation held every other week on Thursday 2 Years of Experience Required 4:1 Patient Ratio 36 or 48hr contract options Every other weekend required BLS, ACLS required Must have chest tube insertion assistance, management and removal experience. Central line experience required. External/internal pacemakers, wound vacs experience required. Clinician can be floated within scope to meet facilities needs Open to accommodating blocked schedule requests 100mi. Radius Rule (75-99mi. can be sent for facility approval) WV RN license in hand to submit 36hrs guaranteed PERM EMPLOYEES CANNOT RETURN AS TRAVELERS FOR 3 YEARS AFTER LAST DATE WORKED PERM.
