The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation, and execution of a comprehensive risk management framework to identify, manage, and mitigate risks that may impact the business. This role requires close engagement with senior business leaders to ensure a deep understanding of the risk landscape and to foster the institution of sound and effective risk management practices. The Chief Risk Officer will also be tasked with facilitating risk-informed decision-making, providing effective challenges to maintain the integrity of the business's risk posture, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 15 years of financial services experience, with a background in private client and asset management or a related business, and/or an associated risk management position. Essential duties include establishing and overseeing the implementation of a risk management framework, conducting regular risk reviews, monitoring the business's risk profile, and leading the development of risk assessment and quantification models. The role also involves evolving risk reporting processes, engaging with regulators, and collaborating with key stakeholders on risk evaluation for various business initiatives.
