Company: Private Lending Firm Position Overview: We are seeking a Real Estate Paralegal to join our private lending team in Miami. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate law, particularly in title insurance, and be highly skilled in supporting real estate transactions from start to finish. This role will involve working closely with attorneys, borrowers, lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and compliant transaction processes. Key Responsibilities: ● Title Insurance Coordination: Conduct thorough title searches, examine title commitments, and resolve any title-related issues. Order and review title insurance policies to ensure coverage aligns with transaction requirements. ● Document Preparation and Review: Prepare, review, and finalize loan documents, mortgages, title affidavits, and other real estate-related legal documents. ● Due Diligence: Assist in all due diligence activities related to property and borrower assessments, including reviewing property surveys, lien searches, and zoning reports. ● Closing Coordination: Facilitate the closing process by coordinating with title companies, lenders, attorneys, and other relevant parties to ensure all requirements are met. ● Post-Closing Management: Oversee post-closing activities, including recording documents, updating transaction records, and tracking final title policies. ● Research and Compliance: Stay updated on local, state, and federal regulations affecting real estate transactions to ensure all activities remain compliant. Qualifications: ● Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Real Estate Paralegal, specifically with insurance within a private lending or law firm environment. ● Education: Paralegal certification or relevant degree preferred. ● Skills: Proficient in title and escrow processes, excellent organizational skills, and strong attention to detail. ● Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively coordinate between various parties and provide clear updates to stakeholders. ● Familiarity with Florida real estate laws and procedures is essential
