Job Opportunity: Paralegal - Commercial Real Estate Our client is looking for a Paralegal with at least 5 years expereince in Commercial Real Estate to join their company. This role offers a chance to make a direct impact on various projects and streamline operations. Salary is based on expereince Key Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with in-house counsel to manage commercial real estate transactions, with a primary focus on leasing activities. Draft, review, and edit a wide array of legal documents, including leases, construction contracts, purchase agreements, and service agreements, working closely with multiple departments. Oversee administrative functions like contract intake, document management, and communication with clients and stakeholders. Conduct comprehensive due diligence for real estate and corporate transactions. Prepare and file legal documents with relevant government entities. Use legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw) to analyze statutes, regulations, judicial decisions, and legal precedents. Assist in organizing board meetings, drafting agendas, and recording meeting minutes. Stay informed on regulatory updates and changes in the legal landscape to ensure ongoing compliance and best practices. Serve as a liaison between the company, clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and resolution of issues. Maintain accurate records of legal documents and transactions in both physical and digital formats. Proofread and edit legal materials for consistency, accuracy, and compliance. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field. At least five years of experience as a paralegal, ideally with a focus on commercial real estate leasing, including drafting and reviewing office, retail, and industrial lease agreements. Prior experience in a law firm or corporate legal department is preferred. Preferred Qualifications: Certification as a Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP) or nationally recognized certification (e.g., NALA, NFPA, NALS). Background in real estate litigation, including evictions. Knowledge of title and survey review, ADA compliance, or related legal fields like personal injury or employment law. Required Skills & Attributes: Strong understanding of legal terminology and real estate practices. Excellent research, analytical, and investigative skills. Proficiency in contract management software, such as Ironclad. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with Westlaw or similar legal research systems. Exceptional organizational skills and a sharp eye for detail. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet organizational goals. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish). Work Environment: Office-based role in Miami Lakes, Florida Typical work hours are from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
