Join a small company with 200% sales growth over the last few years Industry is booming due to electrification and warehouse automation About Our Client Our client is a sub 100 employee industrial engineering / manufacturing company located in Central North Massachusetts. They are skyrocketing in growth with the rise of electrification and seeking a Senior Product Manager for their Material Handling Market Segment. This role reports to the Director of Marketing and Product and can lead a team quickly. Job Description The Market Segment Manager will: Develop and implement comprehensive product strategies, aligning them with the company's overall business objectives. Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape. Define product positioning and messaging, highlighting key features and benefits to differentiate our products in the market. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, regulatory affairs, and sales, to drive product development and launch plans. Lead the product development process from idea generation to launch, ensuring timely execution and adherence to quality standards. Define product specifications, pricing strategies, and distribution plans for new product introductions. Develop product roadmaps to meet evolving market requirements. Collaborate with regional marketing teams to adapt marketing strategies to local market requirements. Monitor and analyze market and sales data to measure product performance and identify areas for improvement. Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders and customers to gain insights and drive customer-centric product development. Collaborate closely with the sales team to provide training, support, and sales tools to ensure successful product launches and ongoing sales growth. Travel to visit Key Clients and stakeholders. Build relationships with customers and internal sales members to continuing defining product strategy. Work with clients on recommended product launch strategies including pricing, training, and selling. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing or related field desired. 10-15 years in an engineering, sales engineering, or product role within Industrial Manufacturing. Proven track record of at least 5 years in product management,sales engineering, application engineering. In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering, electrical conductive products. Strong business acumen and ability to develop and execute strategic product plans. Prior leadership experience is nice to have. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams. Willingness to travel internationally as needed (up to 30% of the time).
