Inside Sales Representative

TCP Analytical , an integrated manufacturer and distributor of consumable products for life science research and specialty chemical markets is looking for an Inside Sales Specialist based out of Louisville, KY. The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day managing of designated existing accounts and proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities. You will be working with customers to solve problems, collaborating with the internal team, and selling lab and production chemicals to the Quality Control, Research, and Production functions of the Chemical, Food & Beverage, Environmental, Life Science, Pharmaceutical and Pulp & Paper industries. This position will work as part of a team consisting of Inside Sales Specialists, Key Account Managers, Customer Service Team, and the Director of Sales. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for day-to-day account management duties: including managing inbound/outbound calls, emails, and monitoring customers’ orders. Proactively target companies, generating leads, develops and nurture pipeline opportunities. Identify key decision makers and develop and expand relationships within customers’ organizations. Prepare and deliver sales quotations, proposals and contracts. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities. Communicate and engage with leadership and internal team members regarding status of sales activity and pipeline. Demonstrate the ability to communicate TCPA’s core competencies, expand knowledge of chemicals and their applications and cross reference chemical products to position TCP Analytical’s strengths in the market. Handle customer complaints, settle disputes, and resolve grievances through negotiation. Performs other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS College degree or equivalent/applicable experience 3-5 years sales, pricing, contracts, finance, or related experience Proficiency in MS Office Foster and maintain positive and productive working relationships with customers and sales team members. Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines and have excellent time management and planning skills. Ability to think strategically and problem solve. Highly motivated, ability to work independently and in a team. Excellent communication skills and detail oriented.
