SHR Talent is partnering with a healthcare client in Los Angeles, CA in its search for a highly skilled and strategic Business Development Director of the West Region. The Business Development Director plays a pivotal role leading the organization's corporate development initiatives, focusing on identifying, evaluating, and executing high-impact mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and other strategic growth opportunities. The Business Development Director will work closely with senior leadership to shape and drive the company’s long-term growth strategy, overseeing the full lifecycle of potential deals, from market analysis and due diligence to negotiations and post-transaction integration. The Business Development Director role requires a blend of analytical expertise, business acumen, and strong communication skills to navigate complex healthcare industry dynamics and deliver on key business objectives. Responsibilities: Lead the corporate development strategy and identify key growth opportunities within the healthcare sector, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships Conduct thorough market research, financial analysis, and due diligence to assess the viability of potential transactions Develop and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, including investment banks, legal advisors, and industry experts Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to evaluate opportunities and execute transactions seamlessly Present strategic recommendations and potential opportunities for executive leadership and the board of directors Negotiate terms and structure of deals, ensuring alignment with the company’s financial and operational goals Oversee the post-acquisition integration process to ensure smooth transitions and the realization of anticipated synergies Monitor and report on industry trends, competitive landscape, and market conditions to support proactive corporate strategy development Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field Master of Business Administration (MBA) or advanced degree, preferred Minimum of 3 – 5 years of corporate development, Mergers & Acquisitions, or strategic finance experience, preferably within the healthcare or healthcare services industry Proven track record of leading and executing complex transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with expertise in valuation, due diligence, and financial forecasting Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with senior executives, board members, and external stakeholders Deep understanding of the healthcare industry, market dynamics, regulatory environment, and key players Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong leadership and team collaboration skills with a proactive, strategic mindset If you are a dynamic and experienced Business Development Director with a passion for driving growth in the healthcare industry, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity in Los Angeles, CA
