The Senior Sales Associate role is to embody Valerie Messika’s passion and creativity for diamonds and jewelry design. The Senior Sales Associate must be skilled at developing and nurturing client relationships, while identifying opportunities to expand upon the client’s personal collection of fine and high-end jewelry. The Senior Sales Associate must hold the critical position of acting as a Messika brand ambassador, consistently exceeding client expectations, and achieving their individual monthly sales targets. His or Her passion and entrepreneurial spirit is conveyed in every conversation and imperative for the success of this important role. Position’s Main Duties and Responsibilities:Actively network in the community and surrounding area to generate new business leads and increase brand awareness.Attend industry events, luxury fairs, and social gatherings to represent the Messika brand, expand the professional network, and generate new business leads.Generate new client business by proactively reaching out to potential customers and converting leads into loyal Messika clienteleBuild and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, providing exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.Develop and execute strategic plans together with Boutique Manager to expand the brand's presence in the Miami area, identifying new business opportunities and establishing partnerships within the local communityDevelop a customer portfolio and sales, offering our prestigious international customers a unique experience. Have a perfect knowledge Messika’s creations and the collections including stones.Understand the lifestyles of key customers and suggest activities and places that might appeal to them (cultural and artistic activities, restaurants, hotels, exhibitions, designers, fashion, etc.).Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities, sales performance, and client feedback to the boutique management teamProvide personalized consultations to clients, understanding their preferences, needs, and desires to offer tailored product recommendations.Maintain a deep knowledge of Messika's jewelry collections, materials, and craftsmanship techniques to effectively communicate the brand's value proposition.Collaborate closely with the boutique team, including sales associates and management, to achieve sales targets and ensure a seamless customer experienceStay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify opportunities for business growth and market differentiationAdhere to Messika policies and procedures: Assist in operational tasks within the boutique, such as inventory management, visual merchandising, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.Coordinate with the boutique team to ensure smooth daily operations: Handle customer inquiries and service requestsProvide information such as lead times or pricesProvide technical assessments and advice on product maintenanceHandle the administration of relevant documents such as repair orders and invoices.Take all necessary measures to look after all valuable products and materials in the BoutiqueAdditional Responsibilities:Sales Revenue: Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales revenue targets by effectively driving client business and generating new sales.Client Acquisition: Generate a specified number of new client accounts within a given time frame through networking, referrals, and community engagement.Client Retention: Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, ensuring a high rate of repeat business and client satisfaction. Conversion Rate: Monitor and improve the conversion rate of leads into paying customers by providing exceptional customer service and personalized consultations.Average Value per TransactionNetworking and Community Engagement: Actively participate in a specific number of industry events, luxury fairs, and social gatherings to expand the professional network, generate leads, and increase brand visibility Qualifications:-Proven track record of at least 5 years in luxury sales and business development, preferably in the jewelry industry- Strong network and knowledge of the Miami luxury market and local community- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.- Exceptional networking abilities to connect with key individuals and influencers in the local community- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail is a must- Well-developed written and verbal skills.- Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team- Ability to multi-task, work in high pressure environment- Positive energy and genuine desire to work with people- Passion for the Brand and thriving in a selling environment- Intellectual curiosity and passion for learning- Bachelor’s degree in business-related field is a plus-Additional language skills are a plus Passion for luxury products, particularly in the jewelry industry, with a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, design, and quality.- Flexibility to work a schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. - Fluency in English is required. Additional languages, such as Spanish or French, are highly desirable
