Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Cardiology in Illinois

Job Title: Interventional Cardiologist Job Specialty: Interventional Cardiology Job Duration: 3 months, ongoing Shift: Night 5x8-Hour (19:00 - 07:00), Friday 3 p.m. - Tuesday 7 a.m., covering weekends only Guaranteed Hours: Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active Illinois license required Certifications: Board Certification in Internal Medicine, ACLS, BLS Must-Have: COVID vaccinated and booster, Name Clear required Job Description: - Perform all aspects of interventional cardiology, including cardiac catheterizations, coronary interventions, EKGs, echocardiograms, STEMI management, and temporary pacemakers. - Conduct inpatient rounding and weekend call. - Collaborate with a group of 8 cardiologists for support and coverage. - Handle 3-4 procedures per day. - Manage the adult patient population. - Utilize the EPIC EMR system for all documentation. - Credentialing timeframe is approximately 60 days. - Travel and lodging expenses covered by the client.
