Located in Irvine, CA, the firm provides cutting-edge engineering solutions across a wide array of industries. Due to increased demand, they are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineering Manager to lead their electrical team in delivering high-quality, innovative solutions for complex commercial projects. Position Overview: As the Senior Electrical Engineering Manager, you will oversee the design and development of electrical systems for a variety of commercial buildings. This role involves leading a team of engineers, ensuring project timelines are met, and maintaining quality standards. You’ll work closely with clients, architects, and other engineers to ensure the successful completion of projects. Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers, managing their workload and ensuring quality in design. Oversee the design of electrical systems for commercial buildings, including power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems. Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and best practices. Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive project designs. Prepare and review engineering calculations, technical specifications, and construction documentation. Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to meet company and client expectations. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing questions and providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle. Support business development activities, such as assisting with proposals and presentations. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required. Minimum of 4 years of electrical engineering experience, specifically in commercial building design. Demonstrated experience in a leadership or management role within an MEP firm. Proficiency in electrical design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar. Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client and team collaboration. Benefits: Competitive salary up to $150,000, commensurate with experience.
