Electrical Engineer

Job Title: Electrical Engineer or Designer Location: Roseville, CA Compensation: $90k-$140,000 annually (depending on experience), plus full benefits and performance bonuses Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and driven Electrical Engineer or Designer to join the engineering consulting team in Roseville. This role focuses on commercial projects, particularly in the education sector, including K-12 schools, colleges, and other institutional facilities. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in electrical design, engineering, and project management, with a proactive approach to delivering high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop electrical systems for commercial projects, with a focus on schools and similar facilities. Create and review electrical drawings, specifications, and reports. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration and project success. Perform calculations for electrical loads, lighting, and power distribution. Prepare submittals, RFIs, and project documentation. Conduct site visits for surveys, inspections, and construction support. Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements. Manage project timelines and budgets to deliver high-quality results. Maintain communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in electrical design. 5 years of experience in commercial project design, preferably with schools or institutional projects. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical calculation tools. Strong knowledge of NEC, Title 24, and other relevant codes and standards. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective communication and collaboration abilities. PE license (preferred but not required).
