D3 Search is actively recruiting a Professional Development & Legal Recruiting Manager for a highly respected international AMLAW ranked law practice situated in Los Angeles, CA (90067). Position Title: Professional Development & Legal Recruiting Manager Note: 5 years' relevant experience is REQUIRED. Location/Map: Los Angeles, CA (90067) Employment Status: Full-time/direct hire employment opportunity. Exempt role. Employer Work Model: Flex hybrid work model (3 onsite/2 remote). Summary: A prominent international AMLAW ranked law practice has an opening for a Professional Development and Legal Recruiting Manager to be based in the firm's Los Angeles office (90067). Working with the Legal Personnel team, the Manager provides strategic direction and administrative support to the partners in firm's Los Angeles office. The position reports to the Chief Human Resources and works closely with the Legal Personnel team across the United States. Responsibilities: Manage campus recruiting efforts including law school outreach, on-campus interviews, callbacks, follow-up and the LA summer program. Manage Professional Development Programs including initiating and developing programming for LA associates, supporting firm management and operating committees on the associate retention programs and the performance management process; managing and maintaining personnel data for the LA attorneys; monitoring local market and staying informed with current market trends and tracking and confirming attorney compliance with California Bar admission rules Manage on-boarding and integration of newly hired law clerks and associates. Collaborate with the Diversity & Inclusion Committee on office-specific D&I initiatives Contribute to an array of other programs as requested. Assist with HR Staff personnel matters and events as needed. Qualifications: Four or more years’ experience in professional services organization. Bachelor’s degree required. Knowledge of legal recruiting, associate development and/or human resources practices. Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all levels of personnel. Accuracy and attention to detail. A self-starter who has the ability to work both independently and also collaboratively with the Talent Management team and firm leadership. Ability to provide leadership and support for detailed and complex projects. Flexibility in the midst of multiple and/or changing priorities and deadlines. Integrity - strong professional and ethical standards; must observe confidentiality of personnel and Firm matters. Proficiency in Outlook, MS Office Suite and familiarity with Asana, viRecruit or a similar recruiting database. Annual Salary/Compensation: Salary is up to 175K (DOE/DOQ).
