Company & Job Overview: Diality Inc, a privately held medical device company located in Irvine, CA is committed to improving the quality of life for patients with kidney disease. We are developing a smart, flexible, portable hemodialysis machine that will enable patients to self-treat at home or wherever they travel. The extremely versatile hemodialysis solution will allow more patients to benefit from their true dialysis prescription at home or in a variety of care settings, including nursing homes, hospitals, and dialysis centers, without the need for pre-mixed dialysate bags or external water-treatment systems. We are seeking an HR & Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team, reporting directly to the HR Director. This role will be pivotal in assisting with day-to-day HR operations while also taking a proactive approach in identifying and attracting top talent. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment. Responsibilities: Talent Acquisition Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of highly qualified candidates. Manage the full recruitment lifecycle including job postings, screening, interviewing, extending offers, and onboarding. Utilize various platforms (LinkedIn, job boards, social media, networking events) to source and attract passive candidates. Maintain a robust pipeline of potential candidates for future openings. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on best recruitment practices. Aid in creating and conducting manager training to enhance the organization Conduct reference checks and background screenings. HR Duties Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Leads the onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and exiting team members. Aid in administering employee benefits programs and assist with open enrollment processes. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records. Participate in developing and implementing employee engagement initiatives. Assist with training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth. Answer team members' HR-related questions and provide guidance on policies and procedures. Ensures all team member records are maintained and updated with new hire information or changes in employment status. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity. Required Skills & Abilities Proven experience with full-cycle recruiting and familiarity with various sourcing techniques. Solid understanding of HR principles and best practices. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in HRIS and applicant tracking systems (ATS). Experience with ADP is a plus Knowledge of employment laws and regulations. Experience working in a startup or tech environment a plus. Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 5 years of experience in an HR role, with a strong emphasis on recruiting and sourcing. Experience working in a medical device company a plus. Experience working in a start-up environment Physical Requirements Lift up to 25 pounds Travel: Less than 20%
