Senior Counsel - Leading Energy Company Our client, a leading energy company, is seeking a skilled FERC Attorney to provide specialized counsel on regulatory matters involving the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). This role requires an attorney with strong knowledge of FERC regulations, administrative law, and the energy industry. Senior Counsel Responsibilities: Ensure regulatory compliance with FERC policies, regulations, and reporting standards. Represent the company in FERC proceedings, managing filings, pleadings, and case documentation. Advise business units on regulatory risks, compliance, and strategic implications of FERC rulings. Monitor and interpret FERC developments, providing regulatory impact analyses to senior management. Support or lead FERC-related litigation efforts, conducting research and preparing arguments. Collaborate with stakeholders, industry partners, and regulatory bodies to advocate for the company's interests. Senior Counsel Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. 4-10 years of experience in energy law with FERC expertise, ideally within a law firm, government agency, or corporate legal team. Strong regulatory, litigation, and advocacy experience with familiarity in FERC filings and proceedings. Excellent research, communication, and analytical skills.
