GIS developer

Established client is in search of an Esri ArcGIS Developer for a long-term hybrid contract opportunity in Atlanta, GA. Term: Hybrid Location: Atlanta, GA. “Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.” Seeking a technical GIS developer for configuring and developing custom Esri ArcGIS Enterprise 10x, 11x (Javascript API, Experience Builder, ArcGIS Portal/Online/Hub, Field Maps) applications. Applications are deployed within SharePoint web sites. Custom GIS solutions will be integrated within .NET based applications, The candidate will have application programming/development, implementation, and support experience. Contract Duration: 10 Months Required Skills & Experience Programming/application development experience PL/SQL, SQL Python Scripting (not just ArcPy) Esri JavaScript API (must be capable of developing widgets and not just using Web/Experience Builder) Esri ArcGIS Server services and GeoProcessing services development ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Portal for Organization, or Hub/Community experience as Administrator Experience with industry-standard technologies such as HTML, CSS, XML, XSLT, Git, HTML5, Dojo, Kendo UI, Angular, Dijit, etc. Esri Web/Experience Builder, Arcade Desktop GIS (ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap), experience in administrating users Esri Geoevent Processor, Roads and Highways, and/or Image Server Experience Bachelor’s in geography, GIS, computer science, or a related field Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas, whether to other technical peers or non-technical project managers or customers Knowledge of IT security concepts and implementation patterns within Esri technology Desired Skills & Experience Geodatabase Administration experience with multi-user versioned environment Experience with Esri Roads and Highways, Dynamic segmentation and linear referencing systems/methods, transportation data models URISA GISP or Esri Enterprise Certification Experience with SafeSoftware Feature Manipulation Engine (FME) ArcPro add-in Development Experience Experience with current technology implementation patterns including service-oriented and cloud What You Will Be Doing Daily Responsibilities: Develops customized web applications, webservices, mobile, and enterprise solutions Develops geoprocessing and GIS web services Develops GIS web editing/mapping applications Conducts performance, unit, system, integration, and quality assurance testing of applications Maintains existing applications/services Upgrades and migrates existing applications/services to current version/systems architecture Provides end user support and creates support documentation Works closely with other developers and architects Estimates work effort and proposes/designs development solutions
