Responsibilities Audits support service delivery models (i.e. Environmental, Transport, and Linen) to ensure efficiency of operations, identifying areas/opportunities for improvement and working with Support Services Director to resolve. Works with Director of Support Services to identify inhibitors to patient satisfaction relative to support services (EVS, Transport and Linen). Recommends and develops plan of action to address any/all issues negatively impacting patient satisfaction relative to support services to be reviewed and approved by Director, Support Services Performs staff management responsibilities relative to hiring, annual performance evaluation compliance, employee counseling, etc. Demonstrates commitment to quality services and responsibility for addressing customer service issues. Respects dignity and confidentiality of patients and medical center information. Administers departmental policies for education, safety, infection control, quality improvement and emergency preparedness to meet hospital established guidelines and JACHO standards. Qualifications Five years management/supervising experience in hospital operations management preferred Bachelor’s Degree (BA, BS) or equivalent degree required.
