Position Summary: The Warehouse & Production Lead at ScaleWRX is an entry-level position ideal for someone eager to learn the data center containment industry and develop manufacturing skills. This role focuses on supporting warehouse operations, maintaining a clean and efficient workspace, and leading in product manufacturing. The Lead will also interpret engineering drawings, prepare and cut materials according to cut sheets, and build items following a production schedule. This position oversees day-to-day workflow to ensure team goals are met and does not include HR or labor relations responsibilities. This position reports to the Plant Manager. Key Responsibilities: Workspace & Production Support: Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse, while assisting with production scheduling and work order readiness. Manufacturing Assistance: Interpret engineering drawings, cut materials according to cut sheets, and assemble products in line with production and demand schedules. Shipping Oversight: Ensure shipping processes are accurate and timely. Employee Supervision: Manage day-to-day activities, including break schedules and attendance reporting. Safety & Training: Instruct employees on safety standards and procedures. Material Handling: Operate forklifts to move materials and assist with warehouse logistics. Quality Control: Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specified standards. Working Conditions and Physical Requirements: Exposure to loud noises, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibrations in a warehouse environment. Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shifts, including weekends if needed. Ability to lift, push, pull, and slide packages typically weighing up to 30 lbs. Repetitive lifting, bending, and twisting. Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects or controls. Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, reaching, lifting, climbing, and other active movements. Ability to work all shifts, prolonged periods on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent movements. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; no prior industry experience required. Willingness to learn and adapt in a hands-on manufacturing environment. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and cut sheets. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Basic knowledge of safety protocols, with training provided as needed. Forklift operation experience (certification preferred or will be provided).
