ATM Field Installation Technician Location: Buffalo, NY Hire Type: Contingent to direct hire Pay Range: $22-28/hr Work Model: Onsite with travel Positional Overview Imagine Staffing is recruiting for a ATM Installation Technician on behalf of our client, a national leader within the ATM industry. We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable ATM Installation. The technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) at various client locations. This role involves hands-on work with ATM equipment, construction tools, and site preparation. The ATM Installation Technician will travel to various locations across New York State, with the role requiring regular overnight and multi-day stays at worksites. Role & Responsibility: Install and configure ATMs and related hardware at designated locations, following installation plans and technical specifications. Perform basic site preparation, including measuring, drilling, and mounting equipment, and ensure proper electrical and network connections. Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of installed ATMs to address mechanical or software issues. Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth and timely installations. Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory for installation projects. Comply with all safety standards, including OSHA regulations, and ensure clean and secure worksites. Complete installation and service documentation accurately and promptly. Skills & Experience At least 1 year of construction experience, including use of power tools and general site preparation preferred. Familiarity with basic electrical or mechanical work is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various client locations. High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
