Real Estate Paralegal Assistant

Job Title: Real Estate Paralegal Assistant Industry: Legal Services Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL (Hybrid) - (Full onsite for the first 90 days) Salary: $55K - $65K Benefits Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Real Estate Paralegal Assistant to support attorneys and paralegals with complex administrative and clerical duties. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of legal terminology and processes, particularly in real estate law. Key responsibilities include maintaining attorney calendars, reviewing and finalizing attorney bills, preparing draft retainers and monthly expense reports, and conducting occasional research. The role requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to follow up on payment processing. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and manage attorney calendars, ensuring all appointments and deadlines are met. Review and assist in finalizing attorney bills to clients, ensuring accuracy. Follow up on outstanding client payments. Prepare draft retainers for attorney finalization. Process attorney expense reports on a monthly basis. Conduct occasional research using Property Appraiser’s and Clerk of Court’s websites throughout Florida. Assist with various administrative and clerical tasks as required by the legal team. Requirements: Minimum of two years of real estate experience as a paralegal assistant in a law firm or corporate legal department. Familiarity with legal terminology and processes related to real estate law. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
