Certification Details BLS ACLS Job Requirements Critical Care experience is a must PreOp experience is a plus Must have good critical thinking skills Required skills: BCMA, excellent documentation, ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity patient area, excellent communication skills with interdepartmental team Advanced skills needed: ACLS Procedures performed on unit include large-bore IV starts, chin to toe hair removal, medication administration, skin assessment, assist with Arterial line, Central line, and Epidural placement. Transport patient to OR; assist with induction/intubation, positioning, and skin prep Schedule Information Scheduling requirements: M-F 0500-1330 On Call Requirements: Stay late 1-2/week Floating policy: Within scope of practice and experience Unit Specific Information Type of equipment: GE Carescape Monitoring, Fuji u/s Documentation system: Cerner Unit Guidelines/Policies: (specific policies and guidelines to be attached by unit)
