Primary Skills: BIOS, Firmware, C/Assembly, Debugging, Hardware-Software Integration Contract Type: W2 ONLY Duration: 6 months Location: San Jose, CA (3 days onsite) Pay Range:$55 - $60 per hour on W2 JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a talented BIOS Platform Bring-up Engineer to develop and integrate BIOS firmware for new hardware platforms, ensuring system performance and compatibility. The role includes collaborating with hardware design teams, debugging BIOS issues, and optimizing system firmware. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the bring-up, validation, and optimization of system platforms. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and maintain BIOS firmware for new hardware platforms. Collaborate with hardware engineers during the bring-up phase to resolve system-level issues. Write and execute detailed test plans to ensure BIOS firmware quality and stability. Implement firmware features for performance enhancements and system stability. Debug and resolve BIOS-related issues across multiple stages of development and testing. JOB REQUIREMENTS: In-depth experience with BIOS/UEFI firmware development and debugging. Proficiency in C and assembly programming languages. Strong knowledge of hardware initialization, system-level bring-up, and validation processes.
