Primary Skills: PCI DSS (Expert), SOC 2 (Advanced), ISO 27001 (Advanced), Audit Management (Intermediate), Technical Compliance (Expert) Contract Type: W2 Only Duration: 3 Months with Possible Extension Location: San Jose, CA (LI-Hybrid 3 Days a week) Pay Range: $80 - $85 per hour JOB SUMMARY: Join a dedicated Global Information Security team at a leading eCommerce company focused on driving security compliance activities across various business domains. The role involves understanding security compliance issues, leading technical compliance assessments and mitigation efforts, and developing programs to resolve compliance issues effectively. Work closely with business leaders to ensure security practices align with enterprise goals while maintaining compliance with industry standards. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide pragmatic guidance on balancing security compliance risks with business needs. Play a significant role in enhancing the security and compliance program through audits and process improvements. Assess compliance across internal units, supporting remediation of non-compliant areas. Influence the adoption of new security controls, standards, and best practices through effective change management. Generate insightful reports for teams and management; recommend improvements for security practices and compliance. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Profound knowledge of PCI DSS, SOC 2, and ISO 27001 standards. Strong technical understanding of security compliance requirements and solutions. Exceptional communication skills with an ability to engage various stakeholder groups. Preferred Experience: 7 years in security and compliance, with exposure to the eCommerce or Payments domain being a plus. Familiarity with networking, encryption, authentication, payment and cloud infrastructure, and application security.
