Primary Skills: EMS Design(Expert), Creo/NX(Expert), GD&T(Master), Tolerance Analysis(Expert), GD&T principles (intermediate) Contract Type: W2 Only Location: San jose, CA Duration: 6 months (Possible extension) Pay Range: $65 - $70 per hour on W2 JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a seasoned Mechanical Engineering Technical Leader to join our team on-site in SJ office. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in mechanical engineering, specifically in the EMS design of compute/network products, and a proven track record of leadership. This role involves hands-on development of innovative mechanical solutions, detailed 2D and 3D tolerance analysis, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver next-generation chassis and cards. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Design and deliver advanced chassis and cards meeting system product requirements. Perform detailed tolerance analysis and develop 3D CAD models using Creo or NX. Lead issue resolution with manufacturing teams and suppliers, including developing mitigation plans. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to negotiate requirements and evaluate technical risks. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Expertise in 3D MCAD tools (Creo/NX). Proficient in tolerance analysis and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Demonstrated leadership skills. Industry Experience: Relevant experience in mechanical design within the computer/networking equipment sector, specifically for data centers.
