NuWest Travel Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Chandler, Arizona. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/09/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Surgical ICU - Trauma Neuro Surgery THIS POSITION REQUIRES A FULL 3 YEARS OF RECENT ICU EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED NO EXCEPTIONS Experience must also include EITHER neuro or CV. Dysrhythmia Exam required 24-48hrs PRIOR TO ACCEPTANCE of a position. MAX ATTEMPTS IS 2. There is also a pass/fail Sim Lab on Day 1 of orientation. Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS. Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Level 1 trauma Center, Falls, GSW, blunt trauma, MVAs, trauma patients over age of 15. Ex-lap, crani, speciality neuro-surgery cases. CVA, status post-TPA, COVID, sepsis, ARDS. Are RNs required to titrate drips: Yes Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Propofol, fentanyl, versed, precedex, morphine, dilaudid, ketamine, rocuronium, levophed, vasopressin, cardene, labetatol, dopamine, dobutamine, heparin, insulin All active certifications license required Pay range: $1,634.21-$1,734.21/week Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K, weekly direct deposit, and more Job: 221218
