Family Law & Litigation Associate Baltimore, Maryland Jones Networking is recruiting for a Family Law & Litigation Associate for an opportunity with a Law Firm in Baltimore, Maryland. Family Law & Litigation Associate Responsibilities: - Provide the highest quality family law legal services to a diverse group of clients in an ethical and professional environment - Represent clients in court actions for divorce, annulment, child custody, child support, post separation support, alimony, equitable distribution, and enforcement of orders and agreements - Prepare and process interrogatories, request for documents, request for admission, subpoenas, take and defend depositions - Represent clients at family financial mediation - Represent clients at arbitration - Represent parents in court for contempt of child support orders - Prepare separation and property settlement agreements - Work cooperatively with attorneys, paralegals, support staff, and court staff Family Law & Litigation Associate Qualifications: - At least 5-6 years of family law experience - Admitted to practice law in Maryland - Excellent academic credentials, creative analytical and problem-solving skills - Detail-oriented with excellent organization skills, including the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with little to no supervision - Team player, committed to working with colleagues and clients - Strong understanding of Maryland family law statutes and case law - Ability to research and analyze legal issues - Proficient legal writing skills Family Law & Litigation Associate Compensation and Benefits: - Approximately $130,000-$140,000/annually, depending on experience - Generous health benefits package - Life and disability insurance - 401(k) retirement plan
