Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Family Practice in Washington

Job Title: Physician Job Specialty: Family Practice Job Duration: 3 months, possibility to extend Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00) Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with face-to-face patient contact within the past year. Must have a clean background, no malpractice considered. License: Active WA license required. Certifications: Requirements will be discussed during credentialing. Potential certifications include BLS, ACLS, etc. Must-Have: - Board Certification - Active WA DEA - Minimum 2 years of experience as an FNP - COVID and flu vaccinations Job Description: - Provide family practice care in an outpatient ambulatory setting at a Community Health Center. - Work Monday to Friday, seeing up to 21 patients per day. - Care for patients ranging from newborns to geriatrics. - Diagnose and manage chronic diseases, walk-ins, and acute care services. - Perform basic procedures including injections, IUD placement, and minor wound care. - Collaborate with support staff including a dedicated medical assistant, receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians, and onsite pediatricians. - Use EPIC electronic medical records for all documentation. - Serve vulnerable populations, including migrants and refugees, with interpretative services available on site. - Must be comfortable with high patient volume and a fast-paced environment. - Must adapt quickly with one week of orientation; expected to begin patient care by day 3. - Spanish or Russian language skills are a plus but not required. Travel Logistics: Includes flight, rental car, mileage, and lodging support for eligible candidates.
