Locum Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Family Practice in Washington

Job Title: Nurse Practitioner Job Specialty: Family Practice Job Duration: 3 months, possibility to extend Shift: Day, 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00) Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week Experience: Minimum of 2 years as an FNP with recent face-to-face patient contact within the past year License: Active WA license required Certifications: Will be discussed at the time of credentialing (e.g., BLS, ACLS) Must-Have: Clean background, active WA DEA, COVID and flu vaccinated Job Description: - Work in a community health center setting providing outpatient ambulatory services. - Provide family medicine, walk-in/acute care services, and chronic disease management. - Support staff will include a dedicated medical assistant, receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians, and generally an onsite pediatrician. - Responsible for seeing up to 18 patients per day, across all age groups from newborns to geriatrics. - Should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with vulnerable populations including migrants and refugees. - Perform basic procedures such as injections, IUD placement, and minor wound care. - Utilize EPIC EMR for patient documentation. - Travel logistics include covered flight, rental car or mileage, and lodging. - Experience in community health settings is preferred or demonstrate an interest in such environments. - Bilingual skills in Spanish or Russian are a plus. Providers will have a one-week ramp-up with onsite orientation but are expected to begin patient care by the third day.
