Locum Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Family Practice in Washington

Job Title: Nurse Practitioner Job Specialty: Family Practice Job Duration: 3 months, with the possibility to extend Shift: Day Shift, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Guaranteed Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner with recent face-to-face patient contact within the past year License: Active WA license required Certifications: To be discussed at the time of credentialing Must-Have: - Clean background with no malpractice history - Active WA DEA - COVID and flu vaccinations - Spanish or Russian language skills are a plus Job Description: - Provide outpatient care in a community health center setting - Manage a diverse patient population, from newborns to geriatrics - Perform basic procedures, such as injections, IUD placements, and minor wound care - Work with a dedicated medical assistant, receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians, and an onsite pediatrician - Expected to see up to 18 patients per day, accommodating walk-in and same-day visits - Comfortable in fast-paced environments with varying patient volume - Experience or interest in working with migrant and refugee populations - Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system - Will undergo a one-week ramp-up with onsite orientation, and expected to begin patient care by day three
