Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Pediatrics in Washington

Job Title: Physician Job Specialty: Pediatrics Job Duration: 3 months, possibility to extend Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00) Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week Experience: Must have experience with EPIC and working in community health centers. Comfortable with a fast-paced environment and a higher volume of patients. License: Active WA license required. Certifications: Details to be discussed during credentialing. Provider is responsible for obtaining necessary certifications. Must-Have: - Board Certification or Board Eligibility - Comfortable with patient care from newborns to age 18 - Clean background and no malpractice history - COVID and flu vaccinations - Active WA DEA Job Description: - Work in an outpatient ambulatory setting within a community health center. - Provide care for a diverse patient population, including vulnerable groups such as migrants and refugees. - Use interpretative services available for non-bilingual providers (knowledge of Spanish or Russian is a plus, but not required). - Collaborate with a dedicated team including a medical assistant, receptionist, mental health therapists, and dietitians. - Manage a patient load of up to 21 patients per day, with potential variations due to cancellations. - Participate in a 1-week ramp-up period with on-site orientation, transitioning to patient care by day 3. - Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records. - Maintain professional and effective communication with onsite administrators. - Adhere to all regulations and guidelines, ensuring a high standard of care.
