Locum Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Pediatrics in Washington

Job Title: Nurse Practitioner Job Specialty: Pediatrics Job Duration: 13 weeks with the possibility to extend Shift: Night 5x8-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum experience not specified, but must have a clean background and experience with EPIC License: Active WA license required Certifications: Will be discussed during credentialing; provider will be responsible for obtaining necessary certifications such as BLS, ACLS, etc. Must-Have: Must be COVID and flu vaccinated Job Description: - Provide pediatric care in a fast-paced, outpatient ambulatory community health center setting. - Attend to a varied patient population ranging from newborns to pediatric patients. - Serve vulnerable populations, including migrants and refugees, with interpretative services available onsite. - Comfortably manage a patient load of 18 patients per day, adhering to productivity expectations. - Collaborate with a dedicated medical assistant, receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians, onsite pediatricians, and healthcare administrators. - Participate in a 1-week onsite orientation, with patient care expected to start by day 3. - Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records; prior experience is essential. - Travel logistics, including flight, rental car or mileage, and lodging, are covered by the client. - Ensure all documentation is completed within charting guidelines, with a focus on direct patient care time.
