Locum Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Pediatrics in Washington

Job Title: Nurse Practitioner Job Specialty: Pediatrics Job Duration: 3 months, possibility to extend Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00), Monday-Friday Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week Experience: - Must have a clean background with no malpractice history - Comfortable with a fast-paced environment and patient quota - Experience with EPIC is essential License: Active WA license required Certifications: Details to be discussed during credentialing; candidates will be responsible for obtaining any required certifications such as BLS, ACLS, etc. Must-Have: - Board Certification (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) - Active WA DEA required - Must be COVID and flu vaccinated Job Description: - Provide pediatric care in an outpatient ambulatory setting - Expected to start patient care by the third day of orientation - Will be scheduled to see up to 18 patients per day (may vary based on cancellations) - Patient population includes newborns to 18 years old - Experience or interest in working with vulnerable populations such as migrants and refugees - Interpretation services are available onsite; bilingualism is a plus but not required - Support staff includes a dedicated medical assistant, receptionist, and mental health therapists - Charting time is not compensated; only direct patient care time is counted - Travel logistics provided, including flight, rental car or mileage, and lodging. - Providers must be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision. - Ability to work with a diverse team and adapt to a changing environment.
