Key ResponsibilitiesIndividual must be a hands-on leader with strong writing and verbal communication skills. Must possess process troubleshooting skills to respond to and drive performance/people development. Machine tools, dies, and gauges with lathes, surface grinders, and CNC milling machines to tolerances of 0.0005Experience with hot runner molds and manifold designStack mold experience recommended but not requiredMust be able to lead training effort of new employees.Achieve business goals in areas like safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Must be able to lead and create a safe work culture. Support all company policies and Procedures including 5S and focused work teams.Monitor, maintain and improve key performance indicators daily.Lead by example and perform all job duties in accordance with The HC Companies values.Perform other administrative tasks and special projects as assigned. Review any nighttime production repairs or production PMs with the night and afternoon mold techs. Review mold changeover parts with process tech'sInj C.I. and Tool Room daily management board meetings.Order repair parts from suppliers to complete projects. Order shop supplies.Support production departments with machine repairs and tooling - work open work ordersQualificationsQualifications and ExperienceFour-year degree (preferred) or equivalent experienceMust have a good working knowledge of production processes within a manufacturing environmentMechanical aptitudeMust possess good communication/interpersonal skills and get along well with othersAbility to work in a team-oriented work environmentAbility to manage time wellExcellent organization and problem solving skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent attendance recordLimited travel as requiredWe expect all associates to conduct business in accordance with our values; Safety, Integrity, Commitment to Excellence, Team, Service, and Can Do positive attitude.
