Key Responsibilities: Community Management: Serve as the primary liaison between homeowners, board members, and HOA Messenger. Communicate effectively with the Board and Community Members to address and resolve their HOA related concerns. Coordinate and attend Board of Directors meetings, annual meetings, and committee meetings as required. Prepare and distribute board packets and post Agendas prior to scheduled Board Meetings. Financial Oversight: Review monthly financial reports. Assist in annual budget preparation and monitor monthly expenses. Assist with document prep for yearly audits/taxes as needed. Vendor and Maintenance Coordination: Solicit vendor bids, present proposals to the board, and oversee contracted work. Ensure vendors complete work according to the approved scope. Compliance and Enforcement: Perform periodic property inspections to verify maintenance and compliance with governing documents. Issue violation letters and follow enforcement procedures up to and including hearings if necessary. Technology Integration: Provide feedback on technology tools to enhance their usability for HOA Managers. Team Collaboration: Work closely with assistant managers, accounting personnel, and other team members. Utilize company collaboration tools to effectively work with team members, track action items, and support customers. Qualifications Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field (preferred). Minimum of 2 years of experience in HOA management or property management. Certifications such as CMCA are a plus. Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with Word & Excel. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software programs. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Exceptional customer service orientation.  Personal Attributes: Energetic, optimistic, and a team player. Self-starting go-getter with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines. Passionate about technology and its applications in community management. Someone who likes building new things and seeing them grow in the real world. Other Requirements: Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation. Ability to drive to various properties for inspections and meetings.
