Communications Director

Company Description Cherokee Country Club, founded in 1907, is a private club dedicated to enriching the lives of its members and families in Knoxville, TN. Situated on the Tennessee River with views of the Smoky Mountains, the Club offers an 18-hole golf course, tennis courts, a swimming pool, a fitness center, and an extensive Clubhouse. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Communications Director. The Communications Director will oversee all internal and external communications for the Club in addition to administering the Club's website and mobile app. Qualifications Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Design Software, and general computer skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Demonstrable administrative and organizational skills are imperative Ability to interact and communicate with the membership Ability to work collaboratively and manage projects efficiently Experience in the hospitality or private club industry is a plus Bachelor's degree in Communications or related field
