Certification Details BLS Job Requirements At least 2 years acute care experience RNs required to titrate drips Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Insulin, Heparin, Nitro up to 30mcg, Dobutamine up to 5mcg, Dopamine up to 5 mcg, Cardizem up to 30 mcg only for patients already on oral Cardizem, may not be used for new onset arrythmias Schedule Information 12 hour shifts, full time Every other weekend Scheduling based on staffing need to cover the entire med-surg division Holiday Requirement: Yes, 1-2 winter holidays Call or standby requirement: Yes, up to 4 times during contract duration Unit Specific Information Ratios: In all units, RNs take 4-5 patients CHAs take 8-11 patients Med Surg units across several floors with various specialties Tele are monitored remotely by telemetry techs RNs verify telemetry readings Additional Details Expect to float wherever they are needed COVID Vaccine Required Medical Solutions auto deducts the 1.75 WA state tax - you are able re-add that back in.
