Certification Details ACLS BLS Job Details Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN’s to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9/9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11/30). Periop/OR RN’s, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS Job Requirements MS Tele Oncology: 3x12 Ratios:1:5-6; PCU 1:3-4 Years of experience REQ: 18 months Weekend REQ: Every other Certs REQ: ACLS, BLS required; NIH preferred Will the clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Special Requirements: PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown; interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, accessing ports, starting IVs. PREFERRED EXP: neuro and oncology experience; Central Line Care/Management; monitoring chemotherapy Schedule Information Shifts available: 8, 10, 12 hours Guaranteed Hours: 40 hrs. in one workweek for 8 and 10 hr shifts, 36 hrs. in one workweek for 3x12 shifts, 48 hrs. in one workweek for 4x12 shifts Unit Specific Information Unit Information: Medical PCU Oncology and Stroke Unit; Mixed Acuity Unit - Medical patients with some PCU level of care patients.
