Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg / Telemetry - $1,921 per week

Certification Details BLS ACLS Job Details The right candidates will have 2 years of current MS/Tele experience and MUST BE ABLE TO TITRATE DRIPS. This is a COVID unit. Travelers could float to sister facility, Mercy Gilbert, if needed. COVID vaccine is required, or religious or medical declination form (with appropriate documentation). Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start (with 2 max attempts). There is also a pass/fail Sim Lab on day one of orientation (study guides will be provided with first day instructions. Job Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience - must be recent, within the past 6 months. Must be able to read strips. Must pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start (with 2 max attempts), within 48 hours of offer. Must pass a Sim Lab on day one of orientation. Schedule Information Shifts: 12 hrs. 7-7. Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4 week period (days - Sat, Sun, nights - Fri, Sat). One major and minor holiday. Unit Specific Information Nurse Patient Ratio: 1:4 for days and nights Charge Nurse does not take patients and Unit Supervisor is present. PCTs available on days and 1 PCT or SWAT RN at night to task. No IV Team present, House SWAT Nurse available for difficult IV sticks. Respiratory Therapist available 24/7. Floor-specific orientation: 2 shifts on the floor. Additional Details This facility may handle General and Ortho trauma stepdown unit, with types of treatments including chest tubes, drains, wound vacs, and limited traction patients. Facility utilizes Spectralink phones (call light attached to phone).
