In this meaningful role, you will not only manage Recruitment activities but also provide support in benefits administration, assist with leaves of absence, and lead initiatives that enhance employee engagement. Your involvement will be key in a variety of HR initiatives, as you partner with management to ensure fair policy enforcement and best practices. Position Responsibilities: Benefits Administration: Open enrollment administration Qualifying Event administration Answering employee Benefit inquiries on a timely basis Conducting quality Benefits orientation presentations Billing reconciliation Ensuring ACA compliance Benefits analytics/reporting Create job aids FMLA/LOA benefits repayment enforcement FMLA/LOA/ADA Administration: Deliver a comprehensive checklist outlining employee responsibilities and expectations during their Leave of Absence (LOA) Effectively enforce the repayment of benefits when needed Proactively follow up with employees to secure required medical notes for their return to work Follow ADA compliance and return to work interactive processes Ensure strict compliance with the LOA process managed by our third-party partner Provide management with timely and proactive updates regarding the status of employees' LOA Take charge of maintaining and managing the master LOA tracker with precision Actively enforce compliance with the ADA, FMLA, and all other leave of absence regulations to ensure fairness and support for all employees LOA reporting Recruiting/Onboarding: Post job openings, screen resumes, conduct interviews and provide offer letters Update/manage job descriptions to meet FLSA standards Meet tight deadlines Improve the onboarding experience for new hires Participate and lead recruitment initiatives/projects Follow up new hires to ensure they have a positive experience during their first few weeks Conduct new hire orientation both in person and virtually for out-of-state candidates Update ATS or job req reports Proactively provide management with req updates Schedule background and drug screening Other Sr. HR Generalist: Hands-on role taking ownership of all HR accountabilities to deliver high caliber internal customer service and support Collaborates with department heads and takes a business partner approach to identify, assess, and address staffing needs and concerns Addresses employee relations need by being responsive, approachable, and able to gain the trust and respect of the workforce Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; reviews current policies and practices and recommends changes and revisions to enhance employer/employee experience Enforces company policies and practices Partners with Payroll department on employee day-to-day inquiries Other HR miscellaneous duties Candidate Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree- Human Resources and/or Labor Relations- Required Minimum 5 years plus in a HR Generalist or HR Business partner role Bilingual (English/Spanish) Read, Write and Speak – Preferred Experience working in a Human Resources Information System and Application Tracking System Proficiency with Office 365 programs, Outlook Intermediate experience with Excel (V-Look Up, etc) Paycom, ADP or similar experience HRIS reporting analytics Data entry experience (HRIS employee data changes) Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to handle confidential information with integrity Benefits: Vacation and Sick leave Company sponsored Life Insurance Work life balance through STD (Short Term Disability) Employee discounts to amusement parks, movie tickets, etc Medical, Dental, Vision 401k Paid Holidays EAP (Employee Assistance Program) mental wellness Career advancement opportunities EEO Statement: The company is an equal opportunity employer.
