Human Resources Generalist

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist for an organization located in the Greater Sacramento area In this role, you will help create a positive and engaging employee experience. You will be responsible for handling key HR and payroll operations while contributing to company-wide initiatives. If we are passionate about fostering a great workplace, we encourage you to apply Connect with Armina Stupar 916-239-3700 Core duties and responsibilities include: Oversee onboarding, including recruiting, interviewing, sending offer letters, and facilitating new hire integration. Ensure job descriptions are accurate and compliant with local, state and federal regulations; collaborate with managers to create descriptions for new roles. Support compensation reviews and recommendations. Serve as a resource for employee relations, providing guidance to staff and leadership teams. Administer employee benefits and assist with internal training initiatives. Manage leave of absence processes and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. Maintain accurate employment and payroll records as well as process payroll accurately. Handle terminations in compliance with state and federal requirements. Required skills and qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field. 7 years of experience in an HR Generalist role. Experience managing payroll in a multi-state organization. Proficiency in MS Office and at least 3 years of experience managing HRIS system. (BambooHR, ADP is a plus) Proficient in benefits administration with a solid understanding of applicable laws and regulations. Strong federal and state employment laws, including ADA, FMLA, EEOC, FLSA, and Titel VII. Solid foundation in core HR practices and processes to effectively support organizational needs. Team player and self-starter capable of staying composed under pressure. Compensation: The salary range for this position is from $90K to $100K, depending on experience.
