Mechanical Estimator

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Estimator at ASL Mechanical in Lawrenceville, GA. The Mechanical Estimator will be responsible for estimating mechanical projects, preparing proposals, analyzing costs, and collaborating with the project management team. The role involves on-site visits, reviewing project specifications, and ensuring accurate estimates for HVAC and mechanical systems. Qualifications Mechanical Estimation, Proposal Preparation, Cost Analysis Knowledge of HVAC and Mechanical Systems Knowledge of HVAC Commercial Estimation Pipe and Sheet Metal Prefabrication knowledge Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work on-site in Lawrenceville, GA Key Responsibilities: Analyze project blueprints, specifications, and drawings to determine scope of work. Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for HVAC systems. Review and interpret project bids, proposals, and contract documents. Solicit pricing and quotes from suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors. Evaluate project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify project requirements. Develop budgets, schedules, and timelines based on project estimates. Conduct site visits as needed to ensure a thorough understanding of project conditions. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and cost fluctuations. Assist in preparing formal bid proposals and presentations for clients.
