Position Overview: The General Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the company's operations, from strategic planning and financial management to production oversight and team leadership. This role requires a blend of strategic vision, technical expertise, and operational excellence to ensure the company's growth, profitability, and sustained market presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, particularly within the cable and wire assembly industry, and can lead cross-functional teams toward achieving ambitious business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership and Business Development: Develop and execute the company’s vision, mission, and strategic plan to achieve short-term and long-term goals. Identify new business opportunities and market trends to expand the company’s reach and maintain a competitive edge. Drive innovation within product lines and operational processes to ensure continuous improvement and industry leadership. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and industry partners. Operational and Production Management: Oversee all aspects of production, ensuring that design, engineering, and manufacturing processes meet high standards of quality and efficiency. Manage production schedules, resources, and supply chain logistics to optimize operational performance and cost-effectiveness. Implement process improvements and lean manufacturing techniques to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Ensure that all equipment and facilities are maintained to support safe and efficient operations. Financial Oversight: Develop and manage the company’s financial plan, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Monitor financial performance, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth. Negotiate contracts with clients, suppliers, and vendors to maximize value and control costs. Implement cost-saving initiatives and strategies to improve margins without compromising quality. Sales and Customer Relations: Lead business development efforts to expand the client base and increase market share in target sectors. Collaborate with the sales team to develop competitive proposals and win new business. Maintain a customer-centric approach, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty through exceptional service and support. Address customer feedback and resolve any issues promptly to uphold the company’s reputation for reliability and quality. Team Leadership and Development: Recruit, develop, and manage a diverse team of professionals across production, engineering, quality, sales, and support functions. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the organization. Set clear performance expectations and provide coaching and feedback to ensure individual and team success. Promote a safe and inclusive work environment that aligns with company values and regulatory requirements. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines. Evaluate and invest in new machinery, tools, and software that can drive growth and improve competitiveness. Qualifications: Extensive experience in managing a manufacturing business, preferably within the cable and wire assembly or related industries. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills. In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and specifications relevant to cable and wire assemblies. Proven financial management skills, including budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis. Excellent relationship-building skills with clients, suppliers, and team members. You have demonstrated ability to manage and lead diverse teams in a fast-paced environment. Working knowledge of safety regulations, industry standards, and compliance requirements. Preferred Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field.
