Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated bilingual immigration attorney to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish, possess a passion for immigration law, and demonstrate a strong commitment to providing quality legal services to our diverse client base. You will play a crucial role in representing clients across various immigration matters, including family petitions, adjustment of status, consular processing, removal defense, and asylum applications. This position is hybrid—with offices in Conroe and Houston, TX—and the successful candidate must be willing to travel between both locations as needed. Key Responsibilities: Provide legal counsel and representation in immigration matters to clients, primarily in Spanish and English. Prepare, draft, and file immigration petitions, applications, motions, briefs, and other legal documents with accuracy and attention to detail. Represent clients before USCIS, EOIR, and other immigration-related agencies. Conduct legal research and stay updated with changes in immigration law and policy. Assist clients in understanding their immigration options and the legal process. Maintain detailed and accurate case files, keeping clients informed of case status and deadlines. Attend client consultations, court hearings, and interviews as needed. Collaborate with support staff to ensure efficient case management. Travel between Conroe and Houston offices as needed to meet with clients, attend hearings, and support the firm’s operations. Qualifications: Active state bar membership in good standing, preferably in Texas, or eligibility to practice in Immigration. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required (written and spoken). At least 1 year of experience practicing immigration law is preferred, but we are open to considering qualified candidates at all levels. Strong knowledge of immigration law and procedures, including family-based petitions, removal defense, asylum, naturalization, and employment-based immigration. Excellent written communication skills are a must. The ideal candidate will be able to draft clear, concise, and persuasive legal documents in both English and Spanish. Excellent verbal communication, negotiation, and client service skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
