Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Immigration Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in immigration law, a passion for helping clients navigate complex immigration processes, and the ability to handle a diverse caseload. This role involves advising and representing individuals, families, and businesses on various immigration matters, including visa applications, green cards, citizenship, and deportation defense. Key Responsibilities: Provide legal counsel and representation in immigration matters, including but not limited to family-based immigration, employment-based visas, asylum, and deportation defense. Prepare and file petitions, applications, and motions with immigration courts, the USCIS, and other government agencies. Conduct thorough legal research and stay up-to-date with changes in immigration laws and policies. Prepare clients for immigration interviews, court hearings, and other related proceedings. Draft legal briefs, responses to RFEs (Requests for Evidence), and other supporting documents. Communicate effectively with clients, government agencies, and colleagues to provide case updates and legal advice. Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and other attorneys to provide high-quality legal services. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active membership in good standing with the state bar. Minimum of 5 years of experience in immigration law (preferred but not required). Strong understanding of U.S. immigration laws, regulations, and procedures. Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish or other language) is a plus.
