Job Description D'Leon Consulting Engineers is seeking a GIS Specialist in Los Angeles, California Responsibilities Specialist in GIS ARC Maps and GIS ARC Pro. Manage schedule changes and project boundary information for construction projects in the Central Terminal Area and the Airfield. Develop and maintain map deliverables such as CTA, Airside, Traffic & Operations, Terminal Gates Matrix/Maps and Aircraft Parking Positions, Laydown Coordination, and Integrated Program Lockahead maps. Support data updates for program-level construction projects within terminals and airfield. Update data for Master Coordination Schedule, CALM Dashboard and Histogram. Maintain Logistical Matrix for all future projects. Support preparation and data collection for meeting summaries, presentations, and reports for high-level program meetings. Contribute to GIS system development, collaborating with developers to expand and enhance system capabilities. Maintain all project-related data to minimize construction-related impacts and conflicts within the program. Assist in the maintenance of the CALM SharePoint GIS/ArcGIS Server web portal and application to display, view, and print maps and schedules. Conduct space-time analysis for all terminal construction projects to verify work schedules and locations to alleviate conflicts in the field. Knowledgeable in GIS application for aviation, and civil construction. Effective oral and written communication skills, with an ability to communicate complex, technical issues to a non-technical audience. Works well both independently and in a team environment. Experienced user of ESRI’s ArcGIS software products and Enterprise-level geospatial dataA14. Experienced user of AutoCAD and converting data from CAD to GIS Pro databases. Experience working with enterprise-level geospatial data. Proficient in Adobe software namely Acrobat and InDesign. Able to review and edit documents in Bluebeam. Proficiency with MS Office software including SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, Publisher, Access and PowerPoint. Qualifications Master's degree from a recognized college or university with a major in Geography, Urban Planning, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field GIS Professional (GISP); Other relevant certifications 10 years or more of experience in ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online / Enterprise, including indoor mapping and spatial and network analysis. Experience with Python, SQL, JavaScript, and C++ programming languages
