We are excited to announce the opening of our new technology headquarters in Mesa, Arizona in 2025. This expansion reflects our commitment to growth and innovation in the climate solutions industry. As part of this expansion in the US, XNRGY is seeking a qualified and experienced Buyer to join its team. Reporting to the Material and Logistics Manager , the Buyer will be responsible for managing the procurement, inventory, and supply chain logistics of materials required for the production of custom HVAC systems. This role requires close coordination with the engineering, planning, and materials teams to ensure that materials are available to meet production schedules while optimizing inventory levels. An overview of your responsibilities: Procurement and Sourcing: Purchase materials, supplies, and services by reviewing daily MRP report, requisitions and specifications. Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, conducting regular performance reviews and negotiations to ensure continuous improvement and cost reduction. Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure all materials meet XNRGY’s stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements. Inventory: Ensure optimal inventory levels to meet production and operational needs. Cost Control: Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement them without compromising quality. Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering, production, and materials teams to understand material requirements and resolve any supply chain issues. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain, including potential disruptions and supply shortages. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives in the procurement process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. What you'll need, among other things Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on direct materials, preferably within the HVAC or manufacturing industry. Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems (EPICOR is a plus). Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Knowledge of HVAC systems or manufacturing processes is a plus.
