Description:Position Summary: The Inventory Control Cycle Counter is responsible for daily cycle counting of warehouse inventory. The inventory counting consist of code and quality review and requires problem solving skills to identify inventory inaccuracy. Also, the position must provide immediate attention to customer requests for cycle counts as well. Knowledge of inventory computer systems and use of power equipment such as a manlift, forklift and pallet jack is required in order to count warehouse inventory. Responsibilities: Prioritize physical inventory and cycle counting schedule and partner with other support operators to ensure cycle counts are currentConducts inventory checks for date code, quality, and works with the Inventory Control Clerk and DC management to make inventory adjustmentsUse Warehouse Inventory Systems to complete cycle counts and conduct basic level researchIdentify mistakes/inconsistencies that may affect the overall accuracy of the inventory and report findings to department supervisor and managersMust utilize power equipment such as the manlift, forklift, and pallet jack to move, check and relocate inventory Working Relationships: Inventory Control Clerk,DC Support Manager, DC Management, & DC Team MembersRequirements:Minimum Education: High School Preferred Education: Associates Degree Minimum Experience: 1-3 years experience in service parts inventory control and knowledge of Microsoft excel Preferred Experience: 3 years experience in service parts, experience using ERP inventory software, and knowledge of excel Licenses/Certifications: Required Courses and Training Programs (if Applicable) Soft Skills: Customer Service & Excellent written and oral communication skills Hours & Conditions: M-F 8am-4:30pm; or 2:00pm-10:30pm Driving Requirement: Warehouse Power Equipment Such As Manlift, Forklift, Pallet Jack Travel: N/A Physical: Can lift 50 lbs Grasping/Griping/fine manipulation. Pushing/pulling/Bending/kneeling/twisting/climbing on a regular basis. Carrying/setting/walking/standing and lifting above shoulder level on a regular basis.
