Job Description: General Statement of Duties: The MassLINKS Evening Program Manager provides administrative support and management to evening programming at the MassLINKS Adult Education Online Academy. The MassLINKS Evening Program Manager collaborates with MassLINKS Evening Advising and Enrollment staff as well as evening Instructors to manage evening programming at the MassLINKS Adult Education Online Academy at MWCC. The MassLINKS Evening Program Manager manages instruction and educator effectiveness, enrollment, and advising services including scheduling needs, academic and career planning needs, internal and external agency referrals, NRS assessment planning/administration (where appropriate) and the technology support needs of evening programming at the MassLINKS Adult Education Online Academy. The MassLINKS Evening Program Manager supports the Director of MassLINKS ESOL Academic Services and Special Programs in delivering high quality adult education programming aligned to the mission, vision, and values of the Division of Lifelong Learning and Workforce Development, Mount Wachusett Community College, and The Adult and Community Learning Services (ACLS) unit of the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE). Responsibilities: In collaboration with leadership at the MassLINKS Adult Education Online Academy, contribute to the creation and implementation of comprehensive academic, advising, enrollment, and co-curricular evening programming. Serve as the primary point of contact for evening instructional, advising and enrollment staff at the MassLINKS Adult Education Online Academy. Assist the Director of MassLINKS ESOL Services and Special Programs in providing high quality instructional and student support services to evening programming at MassLINKS. Supports the coordination and administration of required NRS Assessments administered by evening staff. (placement tests and all NRS assessments). Manage enrollment and advising functions for evening programming including student success initiatives and educational and career planning services. Participate in cross-functional teams in support of student success initiatives at the MassLINKS Adult Education Online Academy. Support Professional Learning Opportunities for Part-time evening advising and enrollment staff at MassLINKS. Support Professional Learning Opportunities for Part-time Instructors at MassLINKS. Support the hiring and onboarding of new PT Evening Instructional, Enrollment, and Advising Staff Supervise PT Evening ESOL and AE Instructors providing ongoing instructional support and guidance ensuring the delivery of research-based, high quality, standards-based instruction aligned to College and Career Readiness Standards for Adult Education and Massachusetts English Language Proficiency Standards for Adult Education. Support and guide PT Evening ESOL and AE instructors throughout the Educator Growth and Effectiveness process defined by the Adult and Community Learning Services (ACLS) Unit of the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Supervise PT Evening Advisors and Enrollment Staff providing ongoing support and guidance ensuring the delivery of research-based, high quality, advising and enrollment services. Submit all documents to the Office of Human Resources in accordance with the MCCC Contract supporting employee evaluations that reflect both strengths and areas of growth for all PT evening staff. Contribute to effective data management procedures including but not limited to data management within the LACES database as well as internal data systems for students, staff, and instructors using the Google Workspace for Education suite of applications, ensuring complete records for auditing purposes. Collaborate with appropriate staff on coordinating and scheduling student information sessions, workshops, and other intake, enrollment, and co-curricular events for evening programming. Provide timely, collaborative, and meaningful support to Part-Time evening staff while engaging in effective problem solving activities with appropriate staff when needed. Other duties as assigned. Requirements: Minimum Qualifications: Master's Degree in Education, Public Administration, or related area, Public Administration or related area; 3-5 years experience administering state and/or federally funded education and training programs or appropriate combination of education and experience; Excellent organizational skills; Excellent oral and written communication skills.
